Greetings, lovely Backers. I'm excited to report that I'm halfway through fulfilling the books! The Post Office was awesome and gave me drop off bins that I've been filling up. Once they're full, I cart them to the Post Office where they begin their journey to your doorstep!
If you've received your book and have a free moment, I'd love it if you can let folks know on the comments of the main page of this campaign. Or if you do a selfie with the book, I'd love to see it if you tag me on social media! I'm angelasasserart in most places or tag any of my art Pages on FB. I would be so happy to know they arrived safely and that you are (finally) enjoying them!
Also, please DO come and share your colored pages from the book over at the Facebook coloring group as well. I'm dying to see the many creative ways you guys are going to have fun with the Ladies' line art!
Speaking of the FB group, the group's first coloring contest is in full swing, so if you'd like something to keep you busy while you wait on your book to arrive, check out the coloring contest for this month's featured coloring page, "Butterfly Guardian". There are some nice prizes in the pot, like a set of Prismacolor Scholar pencils, a print, and a digital coloring pack!
In other news, I'm happy to report the Limited Edition sketches ended up taking less time than I thought because my muse got carried away with them! Enjoy a collection of the drawings plus the flash fiction they inspired! Let me know your favorite one in the comments (the Flower Angel is mine).

7/50 “Flower Angel” As each fleeting bloom dies, so does her breath bring life to new buds. Splendor and decay walk hand in hand in the cycle of a flower, always dying, forever beautiful if you know where to look.

8/50 “Forest Fairy” Falling free amongst the seeds, a forest fairy guides every tiny soul. Infinite as the leaves on the trees and the stars in the sky.

9/50 “Veiled Woman” If you seek answers, there lives a seer who can only be sought by moonlight. As the Cereus flower blooms, she can glimpse endless knowledge. However, beware her price, for it is steep!

10/50 “Angelic Valkyrie” For those who die in battle, she prays. Their cries become each blade in her wings, their strength the mettle of her sword. They will never die as long as she carries them.

This marks the completion of the Limited Edition ink drawings, which means they will be in the mail soon! If you would like one of the remaining 40 Limited Edition books, you'll have to wait to snag one via future coloring book Kickstarters from me. If the LE books do not sell out via the future coloring book Kickstarters, they'll eventually be listed via my Secret Shop on Patreon.

I wanted to share some shipping updates and some fun things today!
First off, the books are slowly, but surely being sent out. Again I ask for your patience as I am one person doing all the packing, shipping, etc. and I also have other obligations as a full time working artist. I also do not want to miss any of my husband's medical appointments for his cancer treatments. I've conscripted my family to help me out so hopefully things will go much faster soon!
If you have changed shipping addresses since you pledged to this Kickstarter and did not receive the email from Backerkit to update your mailing address, please send me a message via Kickstarter so I can get you sorted out.
Now on to the fun stuff! Here's the first batch of drawings I've completed for the limited edition book tiers. I've had lots of fun challenging the muse with your keywords and seeing what comes out!
“Wise Wildlife” conjures an owl guardian of a sacred space. He holds the key to the knowledge hidden beyond.
“Angelic Angel”
From the grace & fury of smokeless flame, she came into being with the splendor and beauty of a thousand eyes and a thousand wings, taking shape only so our senses could comprehend her.
“Angelic Eclipse”
Between the darkness and the light, she exists to make sure neither element falls out of balance. She is both and she is neither all at once.
“Garden Tarot”
With knowledge as old as trees and wisdom of the deep forgotten things, the cards will bring the wind of things to come from beyond the reach of the Grove’s roots.
"Star Song"
In ages past, the Elves knew a song that could sing worlds into existence in the mind of all who heard it. Such songs, if you heard them, will be remembered until your dying day.

By now, everyone should have received their shipping final notice via email from Backerkit so that you can update your address before it is locked today! However, I am going to be giving you all a grace period till Wednesday 1/30 to change your address just in case it takes some folks a few more days to catch up with their email.
If your address has not changed, you do not need to do anything!
Do you need to change your address but you did not get an email from Backerkit? Please message me directly here within Kickstarter so I can help you out! Sometimes emails get filtered into the spam box or lost to the net gremlins and Kickstarter is the most direct messaging system that we should all be able to use.
Once the books are shipped, I'll update your status to 'shipped' within Backerkit, which should also notify you via email.

Remember that I will need to draw a custom sketch in your books, so this may take me a few weeks with my current workload. Please be patient, as good art takes time!

In other news, I'm currently hosting a coloring contest event for the first time in my Facebook Group for colorists! First off, you guys can vote on this poll to help me choose what coloring page will be released to my shop and Patreon next. Then, the winning image of that poll will be the image you guys will be coloring for prizes in February in the group!
Don't forget that the FB group is also the best place for you to share your pages online so I can see and share them with my art fans as well. It's going to be a lot of fun!
In the meanwhile, I will update you all on the status of shipping as I work my way through the book stacks.

Good news, everyone! The books have arrived to my local printer from the bindery and await transport to the studio! Here are a few shots from the shop.
This means that I’ll be confirming your shipping via Backerkit! Keep an eye on your inboxes for this confirmation notice starting tomorrow. I will NOT send out your book until you have confirmed your shipping info via Backerkit!
It’s been a long wait and I am truly grateful for your patience with our health concerns and delays. Your support for this first venture has been inspiring and motivating!
I’ll have better shots of the books once they have settled safely into the studio. For now, join me in a celebratory huzzah! I can’t wait to get these books into your hands and see the wonderful ways you color my art!
