NEW Original Art Tier - The Lady of the River Path (August) + Upcoming Podcast Interview

Another Lady joins the series of original drawings available via this Kickstarter!  I call her The Lady of the River Path.

This Lady for August inhabits the world between acting as guardian of the river of the dead. Her waters guide these souls on their yearly journey back and forth between the realms. They pass the summer gate during the time when souls are allowed to reunite with their loved ones. Her stone is the peridot, her flower the poppy.

This original was claimed between the time I added the tier and was able to finish writing this post!  However, there are still two Ladies currently available via the Collector Tiers - The Lady of Resurrection (March) and The Lady of Veiled Roses (June).  

I'll soon be adding the last four Ladies for September, October, November, and December over the next couple of weeks as well, so keep an eye out for your favorites!  I know these Ladies are going to have some stiff competition between them, as they are some of the most popular entries from this series.

Today, we're past the 80% funded mark and halfway through this campaign.  I'm very optimistic about being able to get this coloring book into your hands!  Things are looking up for us to be able to reach some stretch goals for the additional pages as well, if we can keep up the momentum!  

Upcoming Podcast Appearance

I'm not relaxing just yet, however.  There's still more sharing and spreading the word to do!  I'll be making an appearance on the new Changeling Artist Collective web show at noon EST on Teusday, May 22nd to talk about this project.  The Changeling Artist Collective is a wonderful group of artists, including myself, sharing themed art auctions and fantastical new art each month.  We'll be streaming live to talk about the Ladies, Kickstarter, and more over a cup of tea!  We'd love to have you all there in the live chat area asking questions.

NEW Original Art Tier - The Lady of Wishing Stars (July)

I'm excited to share the next original drawing in the set of header images for the Ladies of the Months series!  This Lady for July represents free spirits and taking that rare chance to achieve your dreams.  She is adorned with amulets representing wishes in the forms of stars.  The magpies carry these wishes to the heavens with the floating lanterns.

Drawn in color pencil and ink, she's one of my personal favorites thus far.

Of the original drawings I've posted, all but 3 have sold out including this one, so if you like this one, secure it fast before someone else does!

We're nearly halfway through this campaign now and have raised 78% of the funds needed to print the basic book!  That's STUPENDOUS!  We still have a little bit to push, especially if we want to meet the Stretch Goals that will allow me to add additional pages (including line art of these header images).

NEW Original Art Tier - The Lady of Veiled Roses (June)

I'm pleased to add the Lady of Veiled Roses to the Collector tiers!  This Lady for June represents youthful delights and the budding of new love. Her birthstone is the pearl, her flower the rose.

Drawn in ballpoint pen with color pencil accents. Here's a short video of how I created this original:

Like the other Art Bundle tiers, she'll come with a signed book (plus any additional pages we unlock), all the digital goodies, a signed 6x12 inch birthstone print of your choice, and a crowdfunding exclusive enamel pin.  More Ladies are coming, so keep your eyes peeled for your favorite!

I should also note that I've caught on to a trend happening right now that might give some of you a chance of upgrading to an Early Bird tier, if you missed out.  As people upgrade their tiers from lower tiers to higher tiers (which has been happening when people up their pledges to claim originals, especially), sometimes Early Bird tiers become available, so the diligent amongst you might be able to snag one if you're lucky and keep checking back!

We're 62% funded today and things are looking great!  A few of you have reached out to me here and via my Patreon to say how much you love the art.  It's been so wonderful to meet you and make new friends!

I'm so pumped to see where we go in the future as this project grows with every new pledge!

NEW Original Art Tier Added - The Lady of Jubilant Dance (May)

Today, I added the Lady of May, The Lady of Jubilant Dance, to the Original Art tiers for this campaign!  

This Lady embodies youth, exuberance, and joy. All things cold and dark have melted away in the height of Spring! She represents the Emerald and the Lily of the Valley for the month of May.

This bright and exuberant Lady has always been one of the more popular ones with her themes of youthful energy and dance.  Kickstarter will allow you to up your pledge to a different tier if you want to add her to your collection!  

But hurry because these original drawings are selling out fast!  Only the Lady of Resurrection (Lady of March)remains right now, with more originals coming as the month continues.  Lady of June is next, so keep an eye out in the next few days to catch her!  ALL of the Ladies for each month will be available in this drawing style for the Original Art tiers by the end of the month.

And as ever, keep sharing and telling your friends about this campaign!  We're at 61% today and with 21 days left, things are looking very good.  We just need to keep the momentum going!

Inking the Lady of February + SOLD OUT Tiers!

It's been a wonderful weekend here on Kickstarter!  In the past few days, we've raised over half of the funding needed to make this book a reality.  Give yourselves a pat on the back, ya'll!  

ALL of the Early Bird tiers are sold out, as are 2 of the 4 Original Art tiers that I made available at the start of this campaign.  I'm so awed and grateful for the enthusiasm you all have shown for backing and sharing this project!  Thanks SO much to everyone.♥  We only have a little ways to push now to get this project completely funded and meet the Stretch Goals that will allow me to add the extra pages!

For now, I'm planning to keep working on more of the toned paper drawings for each Lady so that I can make your favorite Lady available as an Original Art tier, if I haven't already.  I'm planning to add the entire series over the course of this month, so that means there'll be 8 more Lady drawings to claim very soon!  I'll post an update when I add new Original Art tiers so you won't miss out on your favorite birthstone Lady.
