Updates and Declined Cards

The pre-order period has ended and most surveys are all in order!  There are only 2 folks who haven't settled their credit cards for their Add On items, which I have messaged via Kickstarter and email.

And now it's just a matter of putting my nose to the grindstone and finishing all the extra Stretch Goal pages!  I'm halfway done with my rose fairy set for the Odd Fae card game (which my Patreon Patrons will get an early peek at the first finished painting from the set today).  After this set is done, I'll be working full steam ahead on the extra pages!

In other news, I'll be peddling my wares in the Artist's Bazaar in the DragonCon Art Show Aug 30th to Sep 3rd!  If you'll be at the Event, please do come say hello in person!  The Bazaar will be in the bottom floor of the Hyatt.  My Patreon Patrons will also be able to pick up a free print from my clearance box!

I'd love to say thank you to my Backers in person, if you decide to stop by!  I'll also have prints, originals, and my handmade masks on display at the show.

FINAL DAY to Update Surveys!

Quick update to let you all know that I'll be locking surveys when I wake up tomorrow morning!  You'll have till then to make any changes to your survey answers, add or subtract any Add Ons, etc.

Surveys will be locked and credit cards charged tomorrow!  That gives you all a little grace period to tweak things tonight if you need it.

NOTE there are still 15 of you who have NOT filled out your surveys yet!  If you're seeing this and want to double-check things, you can check your surveys here by entering your Kickstarter account's email.

Once surveys and pre-orders are locked and charged, I'll finally be taking a tally of products and start moving into the production phase!  It's so exciting to be taking the next step. I can't wait to fill this house with beautiful things to ship out to everyone!

Upcoming Deadlines and Odd Faeries!

I wanted to give you guys a quick head's up about a couple of things!  First off, the deadline for getting your surveys in is July 31st.  I've sent an email out from my own email just in case Backerkit was getting caught in the pipeline.  If you didn't get that email, but can read this update, you can also find your surveys any time at this link!

If your surveys are sent in after the deadline, your shipment may be delayed and that would be no fun!  I'm here to answer any questions you have, so feel free to drop me a line if the surveys are giving you trouble.

In the meanwhile, I'm taking a small planned break to help out with another wonderful Kickstarter coming out this year!  My friends and fellow artists over at the Changeling Artist Collective are working on a card game together called Odd Fae.  Like the Old Maid game, drawing the Odd Fae will lose you the game!  We're creating beautiful sets of Seelie and Unseelie pairs to go with the Odd Fae.

I've been challenged with creating the Rose Faeries set!  Here are a couple of little peeks to tease you:

Survey Reminder! 15 DAYS LEFT

Quick update for everyone!  Today is the halfway point in July and I wanted to remind everyone who hasn't filled out a survey to get their surveys in by the end of the month.

I will be locking surveys on July 31st and charging credit cards for any Add-Ons and Pre-orders on August 1st so I can go ahead and move into production of all the fun goodies for this Kickstarter.  

The book itself will move into the printing phase as soon as I finish the final 24 pages we unlocked for the Stretch Goals, which should be within the next couple of months, if not sooner.

I am meanwhile still toiling away on the extra pages we unlocked for the Stretch Goals.  I've already made the first batch of them available early for my Patreon Patrons, for those who don't want to wait until the entire collection is ready for distribution.

I've had a few folks wondering why the digital ebook in Backerkit states that it is 'not distributing'.  This is because I will not be releasing the ebook form of the coloring book until all the Stretch Goal pages are complete.  Then I will release the entire completed collection.  A notice will be sent out when it's ready to go, which will be as soon as I finish inking the last page and making the files easy to print for everyone.  

I don't plan to wait until the book is printed before releasing the ebook. It'll be released as soon as it's ready while the physical book will come afterwards.  I want you guys to be able to have fun with the pages as soon as possible!

Finally, if you know anyone who missed the Kickstarter, let them know they can still pick up the Kickstarter Edition of this book via my Pre-Order shop for a limited time until July 31st!

Wallpaper Pack + 1st Stretch Goal Pages Complete!

It's been a little while since my last update and I've been a busy bee working on all the additional pages we unlocked via the Stretch Goals!  Surveys have been flowing in via Backerkit and I'm pleased to see that all but a few of you have successfully completed your surveys.  If you guys have any trouble or questions with them at all, let me know and I'd be happy to help you sort things out!

Wallpaper Pack

I've released the wallpaper pack via Backerkit, so if you are missing out on your download, be sure to check your inbox for the Backerkit link, where you can download your wallpaper pack once you've completed your survey.  My Patreon Patrons at any level can also download the pack via Patreon, if they prefer!

Completed Stretch Goal Pages

I'm also happy to report that I've completed all of the line art of the banner images unlocked via the first stretch goal!  I was able to refine them and add more detail in the process:

I've also been streaming while I work on these pages live online, so if you'd like to chill out and watch some art happen, check out the recordings of my inking sessions and be sure to subscribe to my YouTube and Twitch if you'd like to catch me live!

I'm one step closer to being able to release the digital Kickstarter PDF for this book!  I'll be releasing the PDF via Backerkit once the rest of the Stretch Goal pages (24 more designs) are complete.  My Patreon Patrons pledging at $5 and up will be able to access the digital pages before everyone else, if you want to start coloring them now!

Pre-Orders Still Open!

Do you know anyone who missed the Kickstarter?  Be sure to tell your friends about my pre-order period going on right now!  They can still get the same high-quality version of the book that I funded with Kickstarter via my Pre-Order shop for a limited time.  Pre-orders will close July 31st!  

After this date, I'll have very limited stock on this version, with the public version planned via Amazon's Createspace, which will have no embellishment, thinner paper, and no personalization from me.

Tentative Schedule for Next Steps

• By end of July - Completion of 2nd set of Stretch Goal Pages (Fashion Plates), Pre-Order period ends.
  
• AUGUST 1st - Credit Cards will be charged for Add-Ons via Backerkit.  Add-Ons begin production.  Completion of 3rd set of Stretch Goal Pages (Chibi Ladies).
• September/October - Buffer time to allow for the completion of the book's layout and refining the book with the printer!  Extra time included here for any hang-ups that occur during the production process and IRL catastrophes.  
• November at the latest (possibly earlier depending on the printing phase!) - Books and Rewards ready to ship!  Fulfillment begins! WOO!
